Cruising (Original Theatrical Cut) 1980 - NTSC - William Friedkin

Rookie cop Pacino is deep undercover investigating the bizarre murders of homosexuals in New York’s West Village. Sexually explicit but less than suspenseful mystery. Release was sensationalized, with many gay rights groups voicing loud disapproval of the sordid gay characterization, while others feared copy-cat crimes. Excellent NYC cinematography.
